About

I am a full time university student in New South Wales, Australia studying a Bachelor of Business (Marketing and International Business), working casually at the university and a full time mother. Juggling the three can be a challenge but I have developed a regime of study, timetabling and most of all motivation.

The purpose of this blog is to give other students or anyone interested in improving their time and study efficiency some ideas on how to do so based on my own experience.

Learning is something that we do all throughout our lives and it is the greatest thing we can do to improve our standard of living. The chart below shows the potential income for graduating from university compared with not graduating. When you graduate from Vocational Education Training (VET) you improve your chances of employment by 40%, when you graduate from University you improve your chance of employment by 60%.

Income potential for university graduates
Having good study habits is the first stage in improving your standard of living. The next step is getting the job. By developing good study habits you are developing transferable skills that employers are looking for, including motivation, organisation, flexibility and written and oral communication. I have created a tab, getting that job, which I will be posting information on about what you can do to improve your chances of getting the job you are looking for, including a resume template.

I want to help you with improving your study and motivation to study. I know that it can be a challenge sometimes but ultimately the work will pay off in the end.

Good luck with all your endeavours in life.
